Its My Birthday!

Happy birthday to me!
I have a ton of work to do so it kind of sucks, and it's raining like crazy. But it's nice that it is my birthday, I got a few nice phone calls and emails, and I'm looking forward to Noah coming because he is bringing me a home made dinner. :)

A recruiter called me about this job!

Pod-Cast

For a CS major, I'm pretty slow at discovering technology.
Anyway, I just discovered the 'PodCast'.
Apparently there are a lot of free 'PodCasts' out there available for iTunes or streaming, so I'm listening to an interview with John Canny that took place in Bangalore, about HCI.

UPDATE: I got a personal phone call (voicemail) from UC Berkeley that they accepted me.
I also got an invitation to apply to Montclair State.

It seems that Berekely has a better reputation as a university (more competitive, harder to get into). They also have GRE preparation classes as part of the REU program. Hmm..
It's kind of hard to decide. I guess I have a couple of emails to write, a couple of emails to consider.

Music

The black aum/om on my hand is henna, the black stuff comes off when I wash my hands, and then my skin is orange (like you see on my arm) for a few weeks. We had a henna dorm party yesterday, not much of a party, just milkshakes and drawing henna on each other.

Oh yeah, I went to yoga on monday.

Veal scallopine with mushrooms.

Also, this weekend I got two lovely summer dresses from Marshalls, a pair of sneakers from Sport Authority (on sale), and a pair of shoes to wear with jeans from Marshalls. Noah got some really nice dress clothes. We also went for a walk in the park around the pond for ...a few minutes. The weather was beautiful.

Alice in Wonderland

I went to see the midnight showing of Alice in Wonderland, it was pretty good. It was very cool to see it in 3D, I didn't think I'd like 3D movies but I thought it was really neat.
Readers: What do you think of 3D movies?

Moo

I got one exam out of the way, I think I did decently on it. At least I hope I did. I have another one coming up.
This week sucks so I can't wait until its over. I come home in about 2 weeks and 2 days. That is always exciting.
Over the weekend Noah and I looked at some dresses and flowers for fun.

Another Day

Another Monday, studying for my upcoming exams.
Working on CS homework, which is almost always miserable.
